Alchemy Event Management (“Alchemy”, “we”, “us”), 92 George’s Street Lower, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, A96 VR66, is the controller of personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

If you use our contact form we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, organisation, the type of event you are interested in and your message. We do not ask for any special-category data.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the site securely.

Why we use it and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps before entering into a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To keep the website secure and working properly — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We will not add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Your form submission is processed and stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc., acting as our processor, and delivered to our email. Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area; where it does, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless it becomes part of an ongoing client relationship.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We measure visits with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that sets no cookies and does not collect or store personal data; it only reports aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites and country. Our fonts and images are served from our own site. Some photo galleries display images hosted on the websites of events we produce (techlabsexpo.ie and nexusdublin.ie); your browser connects to those sites to load them.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to or restrict how we use it, by emailing des.doris@alchemyevents.com. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
